Let It Flow
Gary Culley

On this mountain I can hear you
Your voice is the wind that I know
Says let go of all your worries
  Like that river down below
Let it flow, let it flow, now let it flow

Lately I've been troubled feeling lonely
I've wept like a willow in the wind
When I should have been the tree
That sheds it's leaves in the autumn
So in spring I can be reborn again

On this mountain I can hear you
Your voice is the wind that I know
Says let go of all your worries
  Like that river down below
Let it flow, let it flow, now let it flow

Now I must learn to reach out to my brothers
And open like a flower in the sun
'Cause there is so much beauty deep inside us
Can't be afraid to show the ones we love

Repeat Chorus

“On this mountain I can hear you. Your voice is the wind that I know.”

Song story

First recorded on Gary's 2006 solo release, "There Are Times," Gary wrote this song hiking the Fiery Gizzard Trail in Grundy County, Tennessee with Mark and their buddy Bill Keller. Good times = good songs, especially when you sprinkle in a little wilderness.

"it's the music that makes us smile"
